A little more about Corine

I am from the year 1965 and have seen quite a bit of the world, mainly through my father's work.

I was born in Pernis, The Netherlands. Lived in South Africa for 2 years, spent a lot of time on board my dad's ships. I grew up in Brunei and Malaysia, but have been living in the Netherlands since 1982. At the beginning of the 21st century, I went to Wales for a while with my other half, but it is here on the clay in Groningen that I feel most at home.

In the meantime, after a nice working life, I have retired and only do things that I enjoy. And that is singing (in Codswallop and Paddy's Passion), percussion, organising sessions, concerts and workshops, painting Jig Dolls, teaching workshops on the use of Jig Dolls, and Singing Session Songs, performing, taking photographs, drawing, painting, crocheting and knitting. My days are well filled.
