Folk Club Evening Round Robin
Every first Tuesday of the month from September to April you will find me at the Folk Club evening Round Robin of Rocking Good Folk. I usually try out my new songs there first before I sing them at a session. The Round Robin is not a session! You're free to join, but if you are there, you participate. There is no audience.
A Round Robin consists of people who take turns singing a song, playing a tune, reading a poem or a story.
You can sing, play or recite whatever you want, but because it is a folk club, it has to be folk. Songs, stories and poems from any country or culture are welcome, as long as they are folk! Irish, Scottish, English, French, German, Welsh, Hebrew, Norwegian, Gaelic, Ōlelo Hawaiʻi, Japanese, Klingon, that's all fine, as long as what you bring is considered folk in the country of origin.
